  • Kathmandu. Dipak Raj Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board. The Executive Selection Sub-committee of the Board made the decision on Thursday, selecting Joshi for the top position. This appointment comes as the Board aims to strengthen its leadership in promoting Nepal as a premier tourism destination.

The Selection Sub-committee had shortlisted three candidates for the final round of selection: Dhananjaya Regmi, Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato, and Dipak Raj Joshi. After thorough deliberation and evaluation, the committee decided to appoint Joshi as the CEO. His previous experience and leadership qualities were key factors in the decision-making process.

Joshi is not new to the Nepal Tourism Board. He has previously served as the CEO and brings a wealth of experience and insight to the organization. During his prior tenure, Joshi was known for his strategic approach in promoting Nepalese tourism and for fostering partnerships with international tourism bodies. His leadership is expected to drive new initiatives and continue the Board’s efforts to revitalize the tourism sector.

With his reappointment, Joshi is expected to focus on sustainable tourism development, innovation in marketing strategies, and strengthening Nepal’s global tourism footprint. The Board is optimistic that under Joshi’s leadership, Nepal’s tourism sector will experience growth and increased international interest, helping the country recover from the setbacks faced due to the pandemic.
